About the Author

Narayanan Veeriah is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a PMP (from Project Management Institute), and IBM Certified Executive Project Management Professional, having more than 35 years of work experience, in finance, project management and information technology (IT), including 20+ years of experience in SAP implementation and consulting. A member of Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB), he brings along with him a strong domain expertise in Banking and Finance with core competencies in retail banking and credit management, along with SAP.

Narayanan has worked with several multi-national clients for consulting, implementing and supporting SAP, across industries including automotive, banking & finance, electronics, manufacturing, multimedia, pharmaceuticals etc. He has worked with several versions of SAP right from SAP R/3 3.1H to the latest SAP S/4HANA, in new implementations, upgrades and support.

Till recently, he was leading SAP practice, for a couple of industry verticals in a leading multinational IT consulting company. He has authored several books on SAP Finance, besides being a regular guest faculty at management institutions for ERP, SAP, banking & finance and project management.
