About the Author

Being an actress, writer, author and artist is no easy life for a princess like Marie.

From an early age she insisted on being the "Star" of her sister's plays, written and directed by themselves during the long Summer holidays in Ireland.

Becoming a trained actor and director is one of Marie's achievements in Ireland during her teen years.

As a migrant to Australia doors opened for her to do theatrical productions, mainly in the A.C.T.

Being a Homeschooler gave her more insights into how children work, play and think. Here she learned a lot and was encouraged to write by her son and daughter.

Being talented was not unnoticed by many organizations, including Drama Groups, Neighbourhood Watch and Church groups.

Being a writer has given her great joy to help others with their projects and lives.

Since 1999 she has been writing and publishing books, through "Semi-traditional printers and publishers". In 2009 Marie became an independent publisher and author with her company, Aussieoibooks - Runaway Princesses Books Imprints. She has written, edited and published in many genres since then, including children's picture books, children's chapter books, plays, devotionals, romance novels, mystery novel, a theatrical play, biographical novels, prophetic edition, and recently historical fiction mystery novel (2020).

Marie has helped others achieve their own success in writing, including a Biographical novel, a Biblical Timeline title, a friend's picture book stories, husband's technical books, plus other genres. Marie has always been willing to give her time to those who ask for help for nothing more than "thank you". She has never asked for money from any budding writer.
