Rather, each time any such duel comes up in take, our true self, merely ends up owning up every deviant act of that vile inner foe; and, defaced, be burnt away at the witch’s stake.

So, to each one of us who dared oppose this vile other one within; our true self having taken such a fall,
each time strived to survive, self revive; and, in fact, rise from the very ashes at these stakes,
