Synopsis

WHY ARE WE HERE? THE QUICK ANSWER IS:
WE SHOULDN’T BE. AT LEAST NOT RIGHT NOW.

DUKE HAS DISAPPEARED. Best friend Nelson has his first hangover. Tina has just graduated to be one of the UK’s three million unemployed. It is 1983. The world has Reagan, Thatcher, Andropov, and VHS, but no mobile phones, internet, drones, social media, nor decaf latte. But a privileged few already have all of these, and more. Nelson and a very reluctant Tina uncover how our tomorrows are controlled by a secret sect, hiding in plain sight, and that men and women were on the Moon by 1929.

OUR WORLD IS ONE OF MANY. We are all governed by similar laws of Nature, and The Great Attractor. Yet we are unique, and our current circumstances are the result of a colossal failed experiment that began half a billion years ago, now culminating in just one drastic and merciless way out for the chosen few.

BUT WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE PART. Behind our backs change has happened on so many levels, much faster than we have seen. An unenthusiastic group of off-world migrants and misfits now has the celestial challenge of how to delicately inform us of what went so badly wrong with the world, why none of us should actually be here, and ultimately how we might all come together to save mankind.

THIS IS NOT A CONSPIRACY THEORY.
