I’ve just finished Two, One…Now Three. I have to say your own compassionate understanding and your encouragement of the same in your readers pour through. I could identify with some of the characters’ dilemmas, which the book doesn’t pretend to solve—Claude’s calling at the end,, serves as a Christian sort of deus ex machina, which removes without resolving the conflicts—but it (the book) does promote, throughout, the attitude of kindness and attention to the Lord in dealing with them. I had some doubts about the premises of the situation that Louis and Claude brought into being, but the evocation of Lillian’s experience is the best part of the book. Congratulations!
