Synopsis

Psalm 45 is an enigma. If you’ve ever attempted to search Bible commentaries for an explanation to it you have likely experienced the same frustration I have. Of course you could also have found a definitive answer concerning the Psalm. And if so, please let me know what you have found!
Among the experts, there is no consensus or agreement as to either who the Psalm is referring to or exactly what it’s about. Some say it’s about the Messiah, some say it’s about Israel’s King Solomon. Moreover, some say it’s about an idealized king who didn’t even exist . . . and others even say it’s just poetry.
In my view, Psalm 45 could very likely be a subtle, yet very exciting end-time prophecy . . . a very specific prophecy soon to be literally played out on the world stage.
To me its message is one of hope, encouragement, and even excitement. Yet it will be troubling to many contemporary Christians. Love the book’s message or hate it; believe it or reject it; I think you will find it a short journey worth taking!
