Then we will look how you can deal with mistakes, learn from them, and get feedback on your performance in a good way. Next up is working with differences between your students, and with cultural differences. The last chapter is about some cool psychological techniques: preparing for skills by using Mental Imagery and some elementary memory tricks.
Part 2 is about your every-day work: applying the techniques you have seen in part 1 in things like meeting and greeting students, briefing skills, or getting them into their gear; in confined water, like the psychology of demonstrations, evaluating skill performance, or dealing with students who go up. Finally, we look at your work in the ocean; diving from a boat, the decent, or leading dives with open water students.
