About the Author

Charleeda holds a BA in education, served as a minister's wife for 13 years, and has taught the Bible for over 50 years. From 1998 to 2012, her chief residence was Jerusalem, Israel, where she served as an editor, proofreader, and writer with Bridges for Peace. She also volunteered as a Healing Pools facilitator and discipleship teacher at Kings of Kings Community Jerusalem congregation. Living in Israel, the epicenter of biblical prophecy, dramatically changed her life, her understanding of the Bible, and has kept her sensitive to God's times.
 
At the age of 13, she told the Lord, "I'll go wherever you want me to go." Besides Israel, she's served in South Korea (1968-70) as an elementary school teacher for missionary children; South Africa (2012, 2014, 2015) teaching church leaders; Malawi (2012, 2015) and Mozambique (2011, 2013, 2014, 2015) teaching pastors and church leaders; Kenya (2017) discipling children and adults; and the Philippines (2016) on a church mission trip.
Though not Jewish, spiritually, she is of the tribe of Naphtali: "Naphtali is a deer let loose; he [she] uses beautiful words" (Genesis 49:21). This was given to her by the Lord many years ago and is evidenced through her writing and teaching.

She has three daughters, seven grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter, who help keep her busy! Besides teaching and travel, she enjoys being with family, reading, working puzzles, watching good movies, and playing table games. Her home base is the lovely mountain town of Evergreen, Colorado.
