Synopsis
As a preacher and student of preaching, I've drawn a lot of doodles over the years (seriously). Well, I didn't learn to read 'til quite late and still have trouble retaining loads of written information so I 'wrote a book' (it's mainly images) that might help people like me - and indeed, anybody who likes their information distilled. It's a simple idea, really. Each page has a drawing and a one-sentence preaching tip. Things like:
Content is important but so is delivery (that one involves a cake!)
Everyone has a hobby horse, don't ride yours through every sermon
Don't settle private scores in public sermons (I'm looking at you, Joan!)
In fact, there are over 150 simple tips for beginners and pros alike. We need more and better preaching - I hope this helps us all keep growing.
