A treasure from the "Golden Age of Pirates," the book influenced generations and authors, including Robert Lewis Stevenson (Treasure Island) and J.M. Barrie (Peter Pan).
The true author of the work remains a mystery to this day, as Captain Charles Johnson is thought to be a pseudonym.
