Otilia and the crew barely escape on a plane from the now-collapsing island of Puerto Rico. While they manage to escape the rat-infested horror, the plane ride to Florida is anything but routine. While they search for a signal to get help, the crew finds that civilization below them has ceased to exist. Not a single spec of light can be seen on the Caribbean islands below.

With that in mind, Tameka, a soldier tactfully lands the plane at Key West International Airport. Everyone believes they have escaped the horror they experienced in Puerto Rico. However, when they land, the crew finds that the airport is totally deserted. There are no people in the airport. There's also no electricity and no movement. As the crew discovers, they are all alone in the airport.

Nobody knows that while they managed to escape the hellhole in Puerto Rico, all they have done in reality is land in another hellhole. This particular place might be far worse. You see, there is still one more act left in the killer rats saga. In this final act, the crew will find out the true meaning and origin of the killer rats. It will prove darker than anybody can imagine. This is where all the skeletons come out. Can the crew escape the airport or will the rats catch the scampering crew members before they can truly understand what is going on?
