Synopsis
This is a true story set in 1968 and 1969, the height of the Vietnam War. It is a very personal story about an 82nd Airborne sergeant's two-year experience in the Army. It is also a war story of Sgt. Becker's many lucky close calls with death, especially in the final battle in Cambodia against overwhelming odds. This is also a love story. The love of his fiancee and the love of a five-year-old French Vietnamese girl carry him through the tough times.
