Synopsis

Sadi and her puppy can’t hear each other…or can they?
Yay for spring break! Sadi has a whole week to play with Max, the mischievous puppy dog she got for Christmas. But something is bothering her playful dog. When they bump heads, and Sadi hears a voice, could it be Max, and will anyone believe her?

Max is happy to be part of the family. He loves his humans and the two old dogs that are now his sisters. But he left another sister at the rescue home of Talia Wagger. He knows his sister Rosie is still there and lonely. He has to find a way to get her adopted. If only his little human Sadi could understand him…

A neighbor who needs help and a puppy who needs to be adopted are all part of a dog’s adventure in this latest Sadi and Max book. Now that they can understand each other, Max has mischievous plans, but he’s also a puppy with a big heart—he enlists his little human on a mission to rescue.

One Further Note from the Author
Encouraged by Sadi, and for this book, I did a great deal of research and reading about the bully dog breeds. These dogs are often identified under the umbrella of pit bull or pitbull, a canine with a bad reputation and not a real breed any more than a dog called a mutt. I would encourage you to dig deeper and learn more about the bully breeds. You'll find the following sites very knowledgeable:

Acknowledgement

Art, in any form, is the culmination of effort beyond the individual who produces the final product. A supportive family with imagination aplenty encouraged the youngest member to open her mind and embrace her creative nature. As a result, this story has a piece of each person in the family.
