About the Author
Anthony P. Mauro Sr. is a multifaceted author whose writings explore the deeper currents of life-environmental consciousness, spiritual awareness, personal transformation, and the wonder of living-sometimes with gravity, sometimes with a grin. His books-"Color the Green Movement Blue", "Caring for Carol by Caring for Me", and "Silent Sounds"-weave together themes of natural resource appreciation, personal resilience, and a profound understanding of life's complexities. Fighting Mark Twain adds sharp wit to the mix, demonstrating that even wisdom benefits from a touch of humor. Mauro founded three nonprofit organizations under the New Jersey Outdoor Alliance umbrella, helped create the New Jersey Angling and Hunting Conservation Caucus, and was selected by Governor Chris Christie to serve on his transition subcommittee for environmental protection.
