Synopsis

In this book, Dr Marc Gafni and Barbara Marx Hubbard present a new story of humanity, a new understanding of our intimate relationship to evolution, as well as our intimacies with ourselves and with our circle of beloveds.

In these pages, we will contemplate the emergence of a new species of humanity, Homo amor or what Barbara and Marc previously called Homo amor universalis. You will see that not only are we at a moment of global crisis, but we are also at a moment of birth- the birth of a new humanity. Our crisis is a birth.

Moreover, you will see that you personally are called to become the new human- because you are an irreducibly unique incarnation of the evolutionary impulse that drives all of Reality. This realization transforms how you relate to yourself and to others, and how you relate to God. In this writing you will hear evolution described in terms that deeply implicate you in the arc of Reality. We are all personally implicated in evolution. And She demands from us our irreducibly profound, potent and powerful partnership. She is the ultimate currency of connection even as She is the context for our conversation.

The talks in this book are both universal and deeply personal to you, because you are every human. And every human being-under the gaze of love-is a unique expression of the evolutionary impulse that has shaped Reality since the Big Bang.
