About the Author

WILLIAM J. HAUN is Senior Counsel at the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty and a non-resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute. He's represented the Catholic Church in major religious liberty litigation nationwide, including before the U.S. Supreme Court in Fulton v. City of Philadelphia. He also second-chaired a landmark victory for parental religious liberty in Mahmoud v. Taylor.
