Synopsis

How legacy media groups corrupted American society.

News and media have long steered the conscious and subconscious minds of the American people. Saucy headlines spark outrage. Reporters play on emotions without ever bothering to uncover the real story. Public officials and figures spin narratives of lies and half-truths, all designed to elicit a politically favorable reaction. The result is a divided society, rife with distrust and confusion.

How do we fix it? What needs to change?

Legacy media has long been allowed to sell the American people salacious information, narratives, and stories without proper accountability. As a result of the sensationalization in the media, society has become pitted against itself based on the source they consume their information from. We have been conditioned to forego the facts, but rather settle for whose story sounds better and more emotionally driven.
