Connectivity and Problem on Partitioning were elaborated with examples. The floor planning with various algorithm like Kernighan–Lin Algorithm and Ratio-Cut Algorithm is presented. The placement and routing, Routing Methods algorithms, various optimization methods and ASIC testing were covered. The book expands its details towards the SPICE modelling and ASIC chip design with topics covering methodology and structural topology of the clock distribution network and power dissipation. Designs were presented with alternate devices like FinFET and CNTFET. Pipelining concept In Sequential circuit used In ASIC were investigated. Case studies on practical application were presented on asic design of discrete wavelet transform, accelerated analog neuromorphic computing, Spiking Neural Networks (SNN), Neuromorphic Photonic On-Chip Computing etc.
