Owen the Owl Boy confides disturbing news to members of the Bird Club in book three of this serial chapter book series of seven books.
Club members discover paths leading from their backyards to three cedar trees within the Fickle Forest. Owen says that the forest itself is inviting them in! Yet he warns that if they enter, the forest can shift and change and cause them to get lost. Despite the risk, the club decides to investigate these paths only to discover an even larger threat.
