About the Author

Nathan W. Landrum has done some interesting things. From biking across the U.S.A to teaching Biology and Chemistry in Lesotho and China: he's bumbled through his share of adventures. (Usually with or in the footsteps of smarter, braver, people.) He shares more about those antics online. Nathan grew up spending school holidays in the National Parks where his family lived and worked. He would hike forest trails, snorkel coral reefs, watch local wildlife, and explore caves. He couldn't spend all of his time outdoors, or underground, so he always kept books on hand.He began writing at an early age. He'd journey parks with friends, real and imagined, and entangle himself in various escapades. He knows that each National Park is full of enough natural and historical intrigue to fuel a thousand stories. The Junior Rangers Investigative Club novels are his way to share experiences in and appreciation for our National Parks.
