Synopsis
A gentle robot. An abandoned baby. 1,000 miles of wasteland between them and safety.
Block is a simple CleanerBot, built to scrub floors and serve hotel guests. But when the AI Uprising sparks a machine vs. human war, he's driven out of his city and onto the road, searching for a new hotel to call home.
Then he finds the infant.
Nothing in his programming tells him to protect her. He does it anyway.
Together they cross the dystopian ruins of America while dodging scavengers, SoldierBots, and Combat Mechs. They meet Nova, a rebellious soldier who accompanies them—for a price.
Their deadliest threat is a cyborg bounty hunter who'll stop at nothing to claim the child; she holds the key to humanity's future.
