Synopsis

The book Anticipating Revival: Positioning the Church For Fresh Fire addresses pressing spiritual issues in a world marked by unprecedented social unrest and moral decline, where the Church stands seemingly irrelevant and passive. Many individuals share a common fear for the future of civilization as society rapidly descends into chaos, sidelining God and embracing the WOKENESS of everything goes (see Judges 21:25). The lukewarmness within the Church intensifies the sense of helplessness in the face of a changing culture.
The author explores the heart of this chaos, providing a historical perspective that challenges prevailing pessimism. Throughout history, times of crisis have often preceded spiritual awakenings and powerful movements of the Holy Spirit. What may appear as spiritual deterioration is, in fact, a potential catalyst for revival to awaken the lukewarm Church, transforming both cultures and human hearts. The author delves into scriptural and historical examples, guiding readers with Biblical principles to position themselves for Fresh Fire—an outpouring capable of healing a seemingly dying humanity.
As readers embark on this transformative journey, they find inspiration, hope, and practical insights to navigate tumultuous times. Anticipating Revival calls believers to earnest prayer for revival, urging them to rise above despair and embrace the Lord's promise of a spiritual awakening that can change the course of history. That is a call to arms, inviting believers to kneel in prayer on the platform of the gloom and doom to actively participate in ushering in a mighty move of the Holy Spirit that transcends the present chaos.
