Different skills were needed for various career paths that she held and these skillsets come together in two unusual government jobs.
Several unexpected life events thwart her path. Life took a turn after surviving a life threatening accident. A hospital stay was not her idea of a relaxing vacation. Later, due to personality conflicts, she ditches a once in a lifetime dream of participating in the Transpac race. When Heather jumps ship, she lands on her feet and has one day to decide between going forward into unknown territory or returning to a familiar environment.
She thrived on the freedom of trying new possibilities. She refused to be trapped and traversed the obstacles and pit-falls of life by dodging, and ploughing through the chaos.

About the Author
After years of writing objective factual descriptions for the real estate industry Heather Hawk turned to creative non-fiction, writing subjectively with her own personal viewpoint. Having lived a chaotic lifestyle, Heather loves to roam and after taking one huge leap backward, she persisted in Semper progrediens - Latin for 'always moving forward.'More recently in 2022 she tried her hand in flash fiction stories and now lives vicariously in 50 word and 100 word stories.She loves pruning in her garden to control her chaotic life-style by venting, saying "Take that J. Doe!" She lives with her family and whatever wildlife happens to move in.
