Synopsis
Louisa never expected to fall in love on her summer vacation in 1918, but Willie swept her off her feet. Their love was clandestine with pressures from both Louisa and Willie's families. But it was World War I that interrupted their happy ending. Unsure if she will ever see him again, Louisa bids farewell to Willie. She bides her time nursing the barrage of wounded soldiers returning to Baltimore, searching for Willie in each one. Will her love return to her again, or will their romance be a fleeting one?
