Synopsis

Tree Bark is a poetic story that weaves growth and redemption through a reader's heart and mind. This is a collection of deep sorrows and beautiful realizations, hidden thoughts spoken aloud, quiet desires, lingering questions, curious wonders, and a mind divided into its most vulnerable parts. In five sections, Tree Bark takes the reader through the motions of loss, personal hells, and heartbreak with the promise of utter bliss, love, and happiness just beyond the shattered remains of a broken soul.

(Tree Bark: The Hardcover Edition has more images throughout the book than the paperback version and has a unique image dedicated to a different poem on the back cover.)

About the Authors

Lance's heart is set on bringing people closer to nature through the admiration of oneself and the world. Once he understood that creating the images of his mind's eye was possible through his poetry, he fell in love with telling stories that help others ponder their soul and grow from both difficult and wonderful experiences. He believes that the revitalization of the soul comes effortlessly from the calmness and presence of nature, and he weaves that belief throughout his work. Tree Bark is the first book he has published, and he plans to write more books in the future.
