About the Author

Dr. Kathryn Ludwig is an Assistant Teaching Professor of English at Ball State University where she teaches writing and literature, specializing in contemporary American literature. Her scholarship deals with the intersection of religion and literature. In her graduate work, she pursued a concentration in Jewish philosophy, especially the works of Martin Buber and Emmanuel Levinas. She has published articles and presented papers on the notion of the post-secular in contemporary literature and is an officer with the American Religion and Literature Society.
