Synopsis

Step into a tale that stirs the senses and lights up the soul—a forest adventure where frogs throw concerts, fireflies paint the sky, and star-dusted pebbles unlock a new way to see, hear, and feel the world around you. When Mimsy leads Lucca and Capri deep into a misty forest to meet Landvaettir, the guardian of land and sea, the children are given a playful yet enchanted quest: to find the Pebbles of Wonder scattered around a starlit frog pond. These light-filled fragments of earth and sky awaken the senses, spark the imagination, and make the world shimmer with new life.

With their pebbles in hand, the world around Lucca and Capri comes alive in ways they’d never imagined. Frogs croak in full symphony. Fireflies become dancing lanterns. A quiet pond transforms into a moonlit festival. But beneath the laughter and glow lies something deeper: a gentle reminder that presence is what makes the ordinary sacred. The very same moment can be ordinary—or magical. The difference is the quality of attention—and heart—we bring to it.

This isn’t just a tale of enchantment—it’s a soft invitation to live more awake. To wonder more deeply. To notice the small things that make life luminous. Because how we think shapes how we see, and how we see shapes what the world becomes.
Set in the heart of Nova Scotia—a place where the woods are said to echo with the footsteps of fairies, and lighthouses keep watch over those who journey by sea—Mimsy and the Pebbles of Wonder is the newest adventure in the Mimsy and the Pebbles of Time series. A story for children and grownups alike, it reminds us that when we walk slowly, listen with love, and choose to see with wonder, the whole world begins to glow.
