Mackenzie Rash is a 12 year old middleschooler who lives in Middletown, Delaware with her family and dog, Wyatt. She runscross country for her school team and is a member of the school choir. In her free time, she loves going to the beach, hangingout with friends and spending time with her Nana. Creating illustrations for this book was fun and she is grateful for the opportunity.

Amaru Cibuc Freytes Ortega was born at home in Bayamon on June 1, 2013, the year of the snake. She loves the band Metallica andher cats. She attends CampoSofia, a Waldorf school in Utuado, Puerto Rico.
