About the Author

Princess Millens is an author, educator, speaker, and emotional wellness advocate. Before writing It's Okay to Cry, she was a contributing author to the international bestselling book, Promise Devotional. Her work is deeply rooted in both professional training and personal experience. After the loss of her only son, PFC Anthony Freeman, Princess began writing as a grieving mother searching for a way to release her pain, hold on to her faith, and help others feel less alone. It's Okay to Cry was born from that season, before many of the titles, additional training, and frameworks that would later shape her work. What began as a personal testimony has since grown into a calling to help others navigate grief, emotional healing, resilience, and life after loss.
