Counterfeit Culture tells the story of a woman and her family that joined a religious cult in Waco, Texas. The group looked like a dream come true: a safe and wholesome environment to raise kids in. Many events in the author's life led her to overlook all red flags and friends' and family's warnings not to join. She takes the reader on a journey of joining the cult, living in it and after thirty years escaping. It's a story most can relate to as many have succumbed to and lived in controlling environments. The best part beside the warm-hearted way the stories are presented is it's a story of redemption. She explains how what she was looking for was always right inside her heart. The book is comprised of real-life stories that make the reader laugh at times and at others sometimes cry. The book is a story that needs to be told.

About the Author
Keith Brown is married and lives with her husband on their ranch outside Waco, Texas. They joined a religious cult in Waco where they raised their children and stayed for 30 years. They escaped and since have found the freedom they were seeking when they joined.
