Synopsis
Architecture to me is focused on planning, designing, and constructing buildings and structures. But what I also find really fascinating about architecture is that it is not only about those could even inhuman structures. If there's no people using it or living in it, it could not be called architectural - then it's only decorative.
Among the many reinforcements to steel and concrete, there is the shine of humanity. In this short book my primary attempt is to try and deconstruct two of my favorite concepts in my life: Cyberpunk and Gothic. I really like the dystopian world of cyberpunk and the complex, divine authoritative decoration of the Gothic church. I have also come to think these two can even easily and naturally be combined. Cyberpunk is a world in which 5% or even as little as 1% of people occupied 90% of the world wealth. In those worlds, those capitalists would seem to be no different than God.
