NOW BEAUTIFULLY ILLUSTRATED THROUGHOUT

Their parents save worlds for a living.
This time, they're not here.

Avery, Jax, and Lina have grown up surrounded by superheroes, alien technology, and dangerous inventions. But they were never supposed to be the ones saving the world.

When the terrifying dimensional enemy Malakor begins tearing their city apart, their legendary parents—Captain Comet and Nebula Nova—are trapped light-years away.

No superheroes are coming.
No perfect plan exists.
And hiding isn't going to save anyone.

Now Avery must become a leader, Jax must turn his brilliant—and occasionally disastrous—inventions into something that actually works, and Lina must learn to control a mysterious power far greater than anyone realized.

Their plans will fail. Their inventions will malfunction. And things will explode that definitely weren't supposed to explode.

Somehow, three kids and one very unusual teddy bear will have to save the world.

Because being a hero isn't about having the perfect plan.

It's about what you do when everything goes wrong.

About the Author

I am an indie author with a lifelong passion for storytelling in all its forms. From entering short story contests in elementary school to imagining adventures with my siblings as we set out to "save the world," I have always believed in the power of imagination to take us anywhere.

I write stories filled with adventure, humor, heart, and characters who are still discovering who they are. My work explores meaningful themes—such as courage, responsibility, friendship, and teamwork—through imaginative worlds and imperfect heroes who learn, grow, and face challenges together.

My writing style blends elements of the Hero's Journey, ensemble-driven storytelling, and theme-centered narratives, creating adventures that are exciting and entertaining while still carrying emotional depth and meaning for readers.

Outside of writing, I am a huge fan of animated movies and enjoy films from just about every animation studio. I love spending time with friends and family, getting outdoors and camping, and finding new adventures of my own.

I am also a little obsessed with goals, planning, and figuring out what comes next. Whether I am working on a story, planning a project, or thinking about life in general, I tend to ask the same questions: What's the goal? What's the next step? And what's the purpose behind it? That curiosity and sense of direction often find their way into the characters and stories I create.
