About the Author

I have been working in the water treatment industry since 1997. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from Grambling State University and a Master of Science degree from Rosalind Franklin University School of Medicine and Science. Additionally, I possess an Illinois Environmental Protection Agency Class A Water Operator's License. My career has included the oversight and management of three municipal public water supplies that included two Lake Michigan Class A Conventional Water Treatment Facilities. I have been actively involved in establishing high school water operator in-training programs across the State of Illinois since 2015, assisting various utilities, schools, and not for profit organizations.
