Synopsis

Joy is the default setting for the believer.
The Christian life was never meant to feel heavy

Yet fear, anxiety, and despair are endemic even for believers
Many believers strain under the pressure to do more, be more, and perform.
Jesus offers something radical and revolutionary: Rest
My Burden is Light vanquishes the deeply rooted belief that faith must be difficult, laden with spiritual disciplines, and striving for rewards.
Jesus offers a "light burden" and "easy yoke". Those are oxymorons. They don't exist. This book is not about easier work or lighter schedules, it is about sweet and complete rest.
Life can be very difficult. But our faith is not.
"My yoke is easy." Easy.
