About the Author
Calvin Mills Jr. is an award-winning serial technology entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of HelpIT, Inc. A New Orleans native raised in the city's Third Ward, he started his first company, CMC Technology Solutions, in 2003, and has spent more than two decades turning vision into enterprise. His path has carried him from a two-hundred-dollar pawn-shop computer to corporate boardrooms, the White House, and an appointment advising Her Royal Highness the Queen of Buganda - a climb he credits not to his own timing, but to God's.A man of deep and unshaken faith, Calvin builds from the conviction that nothing in his life has been wasted - that every setback, every closed door, and every long season of waiting was preparing him for what God already had in motion.His efforts have drawn recognition from two Louisiana governors and both chambers of the state legislature, a congressional commendation, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Small Business Achievement Award, and the U.S. President's Lifetime Achievement Award.
