Synopsis

You love the creative work. The pricing, the clients, the feast-or-famine cycle—that's where things get hard.

Running a creative freelance business isn't about the breakthrough moment. It's about what you do, every day, for years.

Amy Weiher never planned to be a business owner. She stumbled into freelancing, figured it out the hard way, and built something she still wants to show up for. This book is what she wished she'd had at the start.

Good Work! gives you six principles to build on: a solid foundation, a sustainable rhythm, the right clients, confident pricing, reliable delivery, and growth that doesn't burn you out. Not steps to follow once, or a launch checklist, but a practice—the kind you return to at year one, year five, and year fifteen, whenever something feels off or you're not sure what to do next. Grounded in 20+ years of real studio experience, with stories from fellow creatives who've been there too, this is practical advice from the field, not the classroom.
