About the Author
David A. Rotman grew up in the Bronx, practiced law in San Francisco, conducts mediations, and has spent decades exploring the nature of reality, love, and how to apply simple spiritual truths to life in today's complicated world.In 1984, under the guidance of Hilda Charlton, he began teaching meditation. For over four decades, David has guided and inspired more than 70 students, empowering them to transform anguish, shame, trauma, negative thinking, and hurtful attachments into joy, love, and inner peace, even as they navigate the demands of work, family, and financial stability.David's work draws on a rich tapestry of lived experience, from spiritual study to parenting, from courtroom litigation to quiet mornings of stillness.David lives with his wife, Liz, and two children, and continues to walk the path with introspection, love, and humor.
