The 9Marks Church Leadership Toolkit A Practical Guide for Implementing Biblical Church Leadership

Training Sessions from 9Marks Give Pastors a Practical Pathway toward Implementing Healthy Church Leadership

Scripture presents a clear vision for how the local church should organize and govern, exercise authority, and train future leaders. Beyond knowing what biblical church leadership looks like, pastors need practical tools to implement it. The 9Marks Church Leadership Toolkit helps leaders assess the health of their church, equip elders and deacons, and learn biblical strategies for serving their congregations. Built around 20 video sessions and material from 9Marks’ Healthy Church Study Guides series, this kit offers a variety of flexible, integrated training resources.

• Handbook: 15-session introduction to biblical leadership with detailed readings, assessment questions, and more
• Articles and Sample Documents: Substantial guide filled with assessments, readings, prospective elder and deacon questionnaires, task-specific job descriptions, internship syllabi, sample installation documents, and other resources used by real churches
• One copy of the What Is Biblical Church Leadership?: Small Group Study Guide: 6-week introductory study helps pastors orient their congregations to a new leadership model (Each participant will need one copy of the guide.)
• Instructional Videos: 9Marks contributors discuss all aspects of church leadership, including church planting, elder bylaws, job descriptions, and authority.

Taking biblical leadership from theology to implementation and practice, the 9Marks Church Leadership Toolkit helps pastors move from unbiblical models of church life to New Testament principles that foster healthy, thriving congregations.
