Single page autograph letter. Original bill head with manuscript notations. Letter seems to have been canceled, perhaps after it was acted on. Single rubber stamp. Old fold lines and a bit of soiling otherwise in attractive condition. A very interesting all but brief bill head. This letter is on letterhead for a merchant named A. J. Peck who must have had a business on Bonanza Creek. I had no idea there was any form of town on the creek with Dawson being not that far away. The letter is to the Bank of British North America and shows a bit about finance in the north at the time. I believe part of this is to cover payment to the Hudson's Bay Company. Scarce northern ephemera.
