AA Book of the Car

AA Book of the Car, published by Drive Publications Limited for the Automobile Association, 1970. Edited and designed by Drive Publications Limited. A hardback reference volume with a silver cover design of repeated brushed-metal circles, with the title in black to the front and spine, the latter also carrying a small yellow AA logo. The spine reads "AA Book of the Car" in black lettering on the grey-green boards. Inside, the sample page shown covers brakes, with diagrams, charts and illustrations printed on white paper in clear black text, with orange and grey highlighting used in the illustrations. Condition is graded Good. The covers show light surface marking and a faint scratch to the rear board, along with a small stain. Corners and edges show some wear consistent with age. The metallic cover finish has scuffing in places.
