About the Author
Makoto Shibutani is a Japanese illustrator, writer and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Shibutani was born in Tokyo, Japan and grew up in Miki city, Hyogo, Japan. He studied art in Long Beach, California and behavior analysis in Los Angeles, California. He has published 100 Stories of Social and Safety Awareness, The ABA Visual Language: Applied Behavior Analysis, Momotaro, Coward Boo, I am Naughty, Santa, etc. As a behavior analyst, he has provided behavioral strategy seminars to teachers and parents in the United States, China and Japan.
