Small 4to with papercovered boards depicting Babar at the blackboard with yellow background. Boards very slightly rubbed at the base of the spine but not significant. Original glassine dustwrapper has three small open chips but is otherwise intact. Pages are fresh and clean with heavy stock preserving the quality of the coloured illustrations. The format is not the usual folio and a further eight Babar titles are listed on the verso of the title-page with the copyright dated 1939. Uncommon in any condition this book feels unused.
