The ABC Files: A Collection of Three Novels: Cameron and Carroll, Investigators

Hamish Cameron is an unlikely candidate for a private investigator. A retired former judge, he has decided to spend the rest of his days in an upscale retirement residence in Ashcroft-by-the-Sea, Nova Scotia. But troubling events lead him to investigate what is going on there, with the help of a volunteer social worker, Sean Carroll. What they uncover puts them in peril, but they manage to bring the perpetrators to book. They go on from there to found a detective agency, and become involved in catching criminals lurking in their seemingly idyllic seaside town. Their cases include sabotage at a local plant, child abduction, a drug trafficking ring, and skulduggery on the ocean.
This collection includes volumes 1 to 3 of the series The ABC Files, namely Hamish Cameron Investigates, A Chorus of Evil, and Evil Through the Spyglass, which are also available as individual eBooks.
Ashcroft-by-the-Sea is a fictional town, but its setting in Canada's Maritime Provinces will resonate with many readers, and will also appeal to those who like English village murder mysteries.
