The ABC Of Positive Words

The purpose of this book is to help young children develop a positive perception of themselves through learning the alphabet. As a parent, when I use to read Abc books to my firstborn many moons ago, I use to wonder, why isn't there a book that used positive words with each letter? Instead of A for Apple and D for Doughnut, why not A for Amazing and D for Determination? Because of these thoughts playing on my mind over and over again, after years of putting it off due to other commitments, I decided to take the leap and create this book.

In my spare time around my career as a motion capture actor, I often due free talks for schools and other youth organisations to help implant a seed of self-belief and love. One thing that is clear in every room I enter to speak is the amount of young people who suffer from low self-esteem. Knowing this for myself and remembering my own childhood experiences, is also a part of why I created this book.

I believe this book can be a good early starting point for our children, laying down the foundation subconsciously and consciously. How long the information stays within them once they grow up, is down to the parenting and the personal environment they associate themselves with, but i really hope this book can be a starting point.

At the back of the book, I've shared some ideas of tasks that may help with the child/children processing the information of the book, but ultimately, it is all down to you.
