My journey as an illustrator began in childhood, when drawing felt like a gateway to imagination- a way to create entire worlds using nothing but a pen and a pencil. While I began as a hands-on illustrator, my role has evolved into Art Direction, where I now lead creative teams at KidsBookArt LLC. I nolonger illustrate full storybooks on my own; instead, I focus on building strong visualfoundations for each project. This includes storyboarding, defining artistic direction, andassigning tasks based on individual team members' strengths.As an Art Director, I work closely with clients- conducting meetings, understanding theirvision, values, and the purpose behind each book. I help explore creative possibilities, alignvisuals with storytelling goals, and ensure the final artwork reflectsboth emotional depth andclarity for young readers.
