xxxii, 287 pages + with over 100 illustrations on separate pages throughout the text. Gold lettering on the spine. Blind embossed design on the front and back cover. Top foredge is gilded. Book cover is shelf worn, corners are bumped. Previous owner's name and address on the back of the front free endpaper dated 1855. A very good copy of this architectural history of early buildings in Britain. The illustrations are b/w line drawings. This is a heavy book and will require additional shipping charges (at cost).
