NOT AFRAID!: A Collection of Poems and The Playlist of Becoming (The Becoming Exact Series)

Not Afraid! by LJ Bechtel, The Unexpected Poet and Author is a raw and luminous collection that stares fear in the face and answers with truth. Each poem is a reckoning — with grief, courage, love, and survival. Bechtel’s words rise from the ashes of trauma, addiction, and resilience, reminding readers that healing is not about forgetting but about daring to begin again.

This collection walks the line between pain and beauty, inviting anyone who’s ever been silenced, shamed, or broken to speak, to feel, and to keep moving forward — not in spite of fear, but through it. For readers of confessional poetry and seekers of light in dark places, Not Afraid! is both a mirror and a map back to yourself.

For those who find hope in honesty — this book is for you!
