THE ALPHA KING'S FORBIDDEN MATE: A BWWM Rejected Mate Wolf Shifter Romance (The Black Wolf Queen Saga)

He rejected her once. He won't survive losing her twice.
Sophie Elizabeth just wanted to photograph wolves.
She didn't expect to walk straight into a hidden kingdom of shifters — or into the golden eyes of the Alpha King who looks at her like she's something he's been waiting centuries to find.
Theo Alexander has ruled Sivaria for ten years without ever breaking a single law. Then a human woman crosses his border, his wolf goes silent for the first time in his life, and every instinct he has screams one word: mate.
There's just one problem. The law is older than the crown itself — no King of Sivaria may claim a human mate. Ever. The last Alpha who tried lost everything.
So Theo does the only thing his crown allows him to do.
He rejects her. In front of his entire court.
But rejection doesn't sever a bond like the old laws claim it does — it only makes it worse. When a rogue attacker forces Theo to choose between the law and the woman he swore didn't matter, he'll learn exactly what his father learned before him: some bonds don't break. They just wait.
Now Sophie is trapped between two worlds, awakening a power neither of them understands, hunted by a warlord who wants her bloodline more than he wants her alive — and falling, impossibly, for the King who broke her heart to try to save her life.
The Alpha King's Forbidden Mate is Book One of The Black Wolf Queen Saga, a slow-burn-turned-scorching BWWM fated mates romance full of rejection, redemption, and a claim that refuses to stay broken.
