unpaginated, clean, tight & unmarked internally in clean unworn red cloth covers; jacket unclipped and generally clean but edge-rubbed/nicked with occ.short tears. A roll-call of British cartoonists of the period including Searle, Emett, Anton and Fougasse as well as others less remembered. Interesting to see what has dated and what still works. A nice little one by Rogers of two small Chinese children reading a comic "His blood ran cold as he saw the sinister round blue eyes and pink face of Johnny Jones staring at him over the window sill".
