Small 8vo, approximately 180 x 120 mm, 7 x 4¾ inches, pages: [3], iv, [1]-92 including index, listing 170 numbered recipes, half maroon cloth, marbled boards, gilt lettering to spine. Slight shelf wear to edges and boards, 2 small narrow indentations to upper cover, slight damage due to adhesion affecting 2 recipes (see attached image), last page has pale foxing, pale age-browning to title page, otherwise a very good copy. See: Elizabeth Driver, A Bibliography of Cookery Books Published in Britain 1875-1914, page 76, No.17.2.
